INFRASTRUCTURE

Availability and accessibility to infrastructure facilities play a vital role not only for over all personality development of students but also nurture them into future leaders. At Present, Institute of Agribusiness Management is working under the aegis of S V Agricultural College Campus, Tirupati. S V Agriculture College established in 1961 is located at the fort of sacred tirumala hills in an area sprawling over 360 acres of lush greeny which is quite refreshing and splendid and is known for its excellence in education, culture and heritage.

As the department is upgraded to Institute of Agribusiness Management, an initiation for establishment of separate building with world class infrastructure and with all required amenities like virtual classrooms, spacious classrooms, academic and administrative blocks administrative, Seminar Halls, Conference halls, Video conference centers and cyber space with well equipped books and data bases has already started and expected to be completed by March, 2019.

Library Information Services

  • We have a central library for the college as a whole with a collection of around 25131 books (national and international), 4498 thesis dissertations apart from journals, magazines, daily newspapers in disciplines of agriculture, horticulture, agribusiness and other important areas.
  • The library has also created databases of current periodicals, CD’s, online journals subscribed & digitalized database of thesis available in library.
  •  Internet facility is provided in library with a separate computer center and access to all services is managed through e-resources.
  •  Apart from this, Institute of Agribusiness Management has its own library with voluminous 800 books on management and other core subjects. Daily newspapers, monthly magazines and well equipped computer systems with internet facility are available in the institute for benefit of students.

Accommodation

The institute facilitates in providing food and accommodation with separate blocks for both boys and girls. Hostel rooms are connected with internet facility through LAN. Mess is equipped with automated and semi automated equipments to serve many students at a time.

Medical Facilities

Primary Health Centre along with ambulance facility at free of cost is available for students where they can avail consultation for majority of illness.

Sports and Recreation

Facilities like well structured gymnasium accompanied with infrastructure facilities for sports like Cricket, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Ball badminton, Carom, Table tennis and Chess are available in the college to relax after precise course work.
